Founders Philosophy
Throughout Clinova's history, Karim and Charles have made decisions based on the seven tenets of their management philosophy.
We are who we work with
Prior to business transactions, great partnerships are based on good relationships. Hire the right people, and meet the right partners through them. From employees to partnerships, good relationships precede success.
In each setback, find a breakthrough
For each bad, there's something good; for each good thing, there's something bad. In each case, look for and focus on the good.
The 10² Rule for Project Plans
Expect projects to be 10x harder and take 10x longer than you first estimate. Your best ideas are the ones you believe are worth that time and effort.
Small things are the big things
The small things are the big things and the big things are the small things. Devote each day to getting small things right. Big-picture success is always built in the details. Never chase anything
There will always be new opportunities to reach for. Don't waste time chasing trends. Create a great product, and even better opportunities will follow.
Get first steps right
Time amplifies mistakes. You might think 'it's almost right', or 'it's good enough for now.' 'Good enough' is never good enough. The small things you get wrong in phase one of a project can bring the whole thing as it nears production.
Aim to survive, then to succeed
The primary aim of our company is our long-term viability. Every market on earth can become unstable. Lots of people think the best companies are built to avoid periods of instability. But that’s not true. They’re built to survive them. Structure a company to survive - long-term success will come in time.
