Clinova Announced as a Regional Winner at Barclays Entrepreneur Awards

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded the regional winner in the ‘Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year’ category for the 2021 Barclays Entrepreneur Award.

The award recognises entrepreneurs whose businesses are growing on a rapid scale. In its sixth year, Barclays continues to recognise the exceptional innovation and leadership entrepreneurs have shown, including Clinova. We’re delighted to be named as one of the UK’s most successful home-grown ventures and have now been shortlisted for the National Award which will take place later in October this year. 

As a global digital consumer healthcare company, we are focused on wellness, nutrition, and the prevention of health problems. Over the last decade we have grown to become a global company with a presence in but not limited to EU, MENA, ASIA & US marketplaces. In 2020 we saw our sales soar annually by more than 500% on the previous year. This rapid growth has been boosted by the success of key products O.R.S Hydration Tablets and Covaflu. 

We aim to help make the world a healthier place, and we care a lot about how we approach this. The success of our consumer healthcare business is built on our ability to understand our customers’ needs and meet them with effective product solutions. As technology becomes central in all our lives, we are leading the way in harnessing digital opportunities to improve consumer health by adding artificial intelligence and predictive health management features to our digital healthcare app, Caidr. 

Now in its sixth year, the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards celebrate forward-thinking entrepreneurs for their outstanding innovation which drives social changes and growth in their industry. They highlight and champion entrepreneurs from across the UK who are using their approach to change and improve their industry and society in unique and positive ways.

The ‘Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year’ is awarded to established entrepreneurs whose businesses have experienced rapid growth over the last three years. We are delighted to join other hyper-growth scale ups in this award including previous winners - Cambridge based Speechmatics and London based Perkbox.

We are very proud of the success our team have achieved so far and to be recognised with the Barclays regional entrepreneur award validates our efforts. We believe winning the globally recognised national award would help us to further our commitment to innovation and would unlock a new level of exposure for us to partner with companies who believe in growth through innovative and creative ideas in the health and wellness sector, one which has shown continued growth and consumer interest. Winning this award would also highlight the importance small companies /start-ups can have if permitted the opportunity to grow.
