Clinova appoints Andrew Lane, the present Vice-Chairman of the National Pharmacy Association as its Chief Pharmacy Officer.
Andrew qualified at Sunderland School of Pharmacy and trained as Pharmacist with Boots the Chemist. Andrew owns the AlChem Pharmacy Group. He was elected to the National Pharmacy Association Board of Management in April 2010 to represent the South West and became Vice Chairman in April 2011. Andrew is the South West Regional Representative for Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee and is an active member of Gloucestershire Local Pharmaceutical Committee and was recently elected to NHS Gloucestershire PEC. He is a pharmacist member of the Primary Care Cardio Vascular Society and has interest in developing local networks of pharmacists keen to deliver services to Primary Care Commissioning organizations. Andrew will provide Clinova with strategic advise on the rollout of our new OTC products for the UK pharmacy market. He is also active in Europe as member of the Alliance Healthcare European Forum and an early advocate of Alphega Pharmacy, the virtual chain concept developed by Alliance Healthcare.
